Understanding

"As I judge therefore those young men that bridle their appetites,and love with reason,to be godly;so do I hold excused such as yield to sensual love,whereunto they be so inclined through the weakness and frailty of man-so they show therein meekness,courtesy,and prowess,and the other worthy conditions that these lords have spoken of;and when those youthful years be gone and past,leave it off clean,keeping aloof from this sensual coveting as from the lowermost step of the stairs,by the which a man may ascend to true love"
